I'm Ashley.
Photographer, observer, and keeper of the in-between.
I’m Ashley Steckman, a Florida-based wedding photographer drawn to celebrations with a strong sense of place, thoughtful design, and people who aren’t afraid to fully experience it all.
My work lives somewhere between observation and intention- knowing when to guide, when to disappear, and when to simply let a moment unfold.

WHY I PHOTOGRAPH
The photographs I value most are often the ones no one knew were being made.
A wedding day is made of more than what was planned. It’s the people who came to celebrate with you, the places that hold the memories, and the fleeting exchanges you may not even realize happened. I’m always watching for those moments the ones- that quietly become part of your family’s history.
I photograph with intention, but never at the expense of what is real. Because years from now, I want you to remember not only how your celebration looked, but the people who were there and exactly how it felt.

A little more about me.
When I’m not photographing a wedding, life is usually a little less polished and a lot more lived-in. I’m a wife, a mama through adoption, and happiest somewhere between the water and the mountains. I love traveling somewhere new, being out on the boat, wakesurfing, creating with my hands, and gathering around good food with the people I love.
I’m equal parts thoughtful and playful — calm when things feel hectic, sentimental about the little things, and probably going to laugh with you at some point when we’re supposed to be serious. The relationships I build with my couples matter to me. I want you to feel comfortable enough to be yourselves, because that’s where the photographs begin to feel like you.
